Barbara Mason Rathbun
BARBARA MASON RATHBUN is an ordained United Church of Christ minister, specializing in intentional interim ministry. She serves on Association and Conference boards of directors for the denomination, as well as its covenanted ministries, The Coalition for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Concerns, and Uplands Retirement Village in Pleasant Hill, TN, an Open and Affirming United Church of Christ retirement community, as well as the steering committee for Love Welcomes All, an ecumenical Open and Affirming group in Henderson County NC. She graduated from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN, and studied with the Interim Ministry Network. She has served churches in Indiana and North Carolina. Rathbun is also a quiltmaker, designing quilted paraments for faith communities for the seasons of the church year. She and her husband John live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
