Ted Huffman, throughout his career as a pastor and teacher, has maintained a passion for educational ministries. Certified as a Specialist in Church Education, he has contributed to a variety of curricula for Christian education. As a pastor he has advocated for the integration of arts, worship and education in congregational life. A dynamic storyteller and preacher, he is sought after as a speaker and presenter.

Writing for recreation, he maintains a blog of daily essays and another of short fiction. He also enjoys building and paddling canoes and kayaks.

For the past three decades he has shared ministry with wife Susan who is also an ordained United Church of Christ Minister. They have served in the same congregations for all of their careers, sharing life and ministry. Their two children are grown, but they continue to live in a multi-generational household where they provide care for their parents.

Ted has contributed to Imaging the Word, Affirming Faith, and Seasons of the Spirit. He has also served as an editor of Faith Practices resources.
